A Chinese probe takes a “selfie” image with the ground

The Xinhua News Agency reported that the modern image that is being displayed was obtained by a surveillance camera installed on the robotic arm of the probe, and the Chinese red flag of five stars and a white return capsule appears on the background of a remote blue land.

According to the National Space Authority, the tuban-2 probe is currently 43 million kilometers from the ground and 45 million kilometers from the asteroid “2016ho3”.

The probe successfully completed a series of tests in orbit, including the deployment of samples and self -examination of electronic devices, while reports stated that all systems operate normally, while mobile devices on board the probe began collecting valuable scientific data on the space environment, according to the authority.

China launched “Tannon-2”, which represents the country’s first task to bring asteroid samples on May 29 this year, in an attempt to highlight the formation and development of asteroids and the initial solar system.

The task aims to achieve multiple goals on the extent of an exploratory journey that extends for a decade, including collecting samples from the “2016Ho3” asteroid near the Earth and exploring the guilty of the main belt “311p”, which is beyond Mars.
