The start of the series “Lada Isa” cars in Petersburg

The locally collected cars began to ship to the network of “Lada” agents, according to the Public Relations Department at the St. Petersburg Motor Factory.

Ivan Mirunov, the director of the factory, said:
“In September, we started the serial production of Lada Iskra. During a short period, we updated technological equipment, including the main production line, building new logistical chains, as well as training of productive cadres.”

The Lada ISKRA cars production agreement was signed between the St. Petersburg Motor Factory and the Russian company Atovaz on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025. During this period, specialists re -controld and partially updated equipment, along with training cadres and controlling logistical services. It is planned to produce up to 4000 cars of this model in St. Petersburg until the end of the year.

Currently reach the factory in advance of the car, which includes a coated structure, a transmission system, engines, components of the interior, chassis, along with hundreds of other parts. One group contains about 1000 units collected at the Aftovaz Company in Touloti.

The production processes in the line include the installation of sound insulation systems, the meter plate, seat belts, and the ESP (electronic control control), in addition to the upholstery of the cabin, the luggage box, the additional gathering of the engine and the front suspension, as well as the installation of shock absorbers, wheels and molds.

The public relations department in the factory added that the entire collected car is then transferred from the production line to the quality examination line before handing it over to the agents.
