It was an October to forget for Liverpool, and the next month brings six matches and the final international break of 2025.

Liverpool lost four of their five games throughout October, allowing the spotlight to shine brighter on their performances and pressure to start coming Arne Slot‘s way.

November brings new opportunities across two competitions for the Reds to get back on track, but their fixtures are not without their challenges.

Here is what is to come in November.

November 1 – Aston Villa (H)

The month kicks off with a must-win against Unai Emery’s side, who arrive at Anfield with six wins from their last seven.

Harvey Elliott is ineligible to feature due to an initial loan agreement, while top scorer Emi Buendia is also unavailable.

November 4 – Real Madrid (H)

The Champions League then beckons for Liverpool, as does a return to Anfield for Trent Alexander-Arnold – who will be in for quite the ‘welcome’!

For the fifth time in six seasons, the Reds face the Spanish side in European competition – and yet some sought to claim they were not a rival for Liverpool on the continent…

November 9 – Man City (A)

A trip to the Etihad Stadium is the final fixture before the last international break of 2025, with Pep Guardiola’s side now boasting Pep Lijnders as one of their assistant coaches.

Slot’s side enjoyed a 2-0 win in the corresponding fixture last season, but the Reds will need to rediscover their form, and quick, if they are to get a similar result this time out.

November 10-18 – International break

The squad then jet off to various parts of the world for the international break, leaving us all to hope they each return without an injury leading into the festive fixtures.

World Cup qualification is on the agenda for several Reds in what is the final break until March – hallelujah!

November 22 – Nottingham Forest (H)

Thankfully, Liverpool return from the break with a home match against Nottingham Forestwho now boast Sean Dyche as their manager.

Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked in early September and then Ange Postecoglou followed in mid-October, making Dyche their third boss of the season – and we’re only three months in!

November 26 – PSV (H)

For the second season running, Liverpool face PSV in the Champions Leagueonly this time the match will be played at Anfield.

The Reds lost that dead rubber, but this time Slot is unlikely to be naming a heavily rotated side.

November 30 – West Ham (A)

The month closes out with a trip to the capital to face a West Ham side who find themselves in the relegation discussion this season.

Graham Potter was sacked in late September and Nuno was quick to find himself a new home, though – at the time of writing – the Hammers have lost five of their last six games.

Liverpool know a thing or two about that, sadly!
