Find X9 Pro cameras

Let’s start with the cameras with the Pro model. The main camera comes with a Sony LYT-828 sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a size of 1/1.28 inches. It is larger than the 1/1.4 inch LYT-808 sensor used in Find X8 Pro. The camera also got a better lens with an f/1.5 aperture consisting of 7 elements and supports OIS optical stabilization. This time, Oppo chose to make the default photography mode 50 megapixels instead of the usual 12 megapixel mode.

Now let’s move on to the second 200-megapixel camera, which comes with a 1/1.56-inch sensor that features pixel-level calibration and supports DCG-HDR technology. Short for Dual Conversion Gain, meaning each pixel is captured twice to improve the dynamic range in the image. This camera comes with a Hasselblad-certified lens with a focal length of 70 mm and f/2.1 aperture, and supports the Prism Hybrid OIS stabilization system with active optical alignment. For comparison, the X8 Pro’s 73mm zoom camera used a smaller 50MP, 1/1.95-inch sensor.

Oppo has put a lot of emphasis on video capabilities as well. Instead of focusing on long videos, you can now take motion photos. However, you can record long, high-quality videos using Log or Dolby Vision mode. All cameras are capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps with Dolby Vision, while the main camera and zoom camera can access 4K at 120fps for ultra-smooth footage.
