Xiaomi Launches A New Competitor In The World Of Smart Watches


The Redmi Watch 6 has an elegantly designed body made of plastic, aluminum and glass that is resistant to shocks and scratches, and is resistant to water and dust according to the 5ATM standard. Its dimensions are (46.5/40/9.9) mm, and its weight is 31 g. The user can use it while swimming and diving to a depth of 50 metres.

Its screen is rectangular, AMOLED, measuring 2.1 inches, with a resolution of (432/514) pixels, a density equivalent to approximately 324 pixels/inch, and is protected by glass that is resistant to shocks and scratches.

The watch runs on the HyperOS 3 system, and is equipped with applications to monitor the user’s daily physical activity, speakers for listening to music, and also has sensors for measuring heart rate equipment and blood oxygenation rates.

Xiaomi also supported it with satellite positioning technologies, an electronic compass, Bluetooth 5.4 technology, an NFC chip, and a 550 mAh battery, and will offer it in two basic colors, black and silver, at a price of approximately 70 euros.
