The Earth Is Facing The Third Extremely Powerful Magnetic Storm Of The Year

According to the report, the plasma emissions resulting from two solar flares that occurred on November 9 and 10 will affect the Earth on November 11 and 12. The impact of the first emission is expected to appear on November 11 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm Moscow time, causing magnetic storms of categories G1 and G2, with an opportunity to see the aurora borealis in the eastern hemisphere.
As for the second emission, it is likely to appear on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, and may lead to a G4 magnetic storm. The report indicates that the Earth has only witnessed G4 storms twice this year, the first in January and the second in early June.
Experts stressed that the possibility of the storm reaching the G5 level is completely unlikely, as these storms only occur in very exceptional circumstances.
Magnetic storms form on Earth as a result of increased solar activity, causing disruptions in energy systems and affecting the migration paths of birds and animals. Strong magnetic storms can also affect the work of communications and navigation systems. The intensity of storms is divided into 5 degrees according to the disturbances that occur in the Earth’s magnetic field, and the intensity of the storm is coded from G1 (weak) to G5 (very strong).
