Samsung indicated that the Vision AI Companion assistant can be operated with a single press of a button on the TV remote, and is designed to greatly improve the experience of using modern TVs, although it is based on the Bixby assistant, but it integrates the capabilities of several neural networks, including Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.

The role of this smart assistant is not only limited to interacting with the user’s questions and voice commands, but also extends its role to understanding and analyzing everything that is shown on the TV screen.

According to experts at Samsung, the new smart assistant will be able to answer questions in ten languages, create instant translations and screen wallpapers, and improve image and sound quality.

In addition, this assistant supports the ability to dialogue with the user, taking into account the context of the conversation for a long period of time. It can also be relied upon to understand the content of films and videos shown on television. For example, while watching a documentary, the user will be able to ask the artificial intelligence a question related to any character appearing in the film or video.
