‘I like using this on my lips before lip balm. Skin on your lips is similar to eyes in that it’s thin, and this absorbs well. Lip balm is usually an occlusive, meaning that it forms a protective barrier that prevents moisture loss. If I only use that I find my lips dry out because there’s no moisture getting into the tissue of the lip, so using this to hydrate before applying a bog standard balm really sorts out a chapped lip.’
