Recently,

took to her TikTok account to share the list with other parents.

In the video, which has garnered over 698,000 views, she explained why she doesn’t let her children do certain things because of what she has seen in the emergency room as a nurse.

‘I just don’t know that there is really any benefit to a sleepover, especially when your kid comes home over-caffeinated, over-sugared, and overtired,’ Armstrong explained in the beginning of the video.

‘Let’s not even get into the rest of the s**t that can happen during a sleepover, which is the ultimate reason why I don’t do it,’ she continued.

The second thing that she never lets her children do is play tackle football.

Tackle football can cause a lot of injuries in children, and is even linked to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).

‘I think that tackle football has gotten better with its parameters for their helmets and their CTE protocol and all of that stuff,’ she continued.

‘But until you can give me a concrete evidence of s**t that spinal cord injuries are reduced, and head injuries are reduced, I’m just not gonna get involved in it.’

The third no-no on her list was letting her kids eat whole grapes for lunch.

She explained that kids can easily choke on the fruit.

‘This is my own personal PTSD, but I’m still cutting my kids’ grapes, and I am still never going to pack them at lunch, because the thought of them eating grapes without me being there is a little scary,’ the nurse admitted.

‘I have seen three kids in the ER for choking on grapes, and now I am forever scarred,’ she said.

‘Is it logical? No. Is this what this is supposed to be? No, so back up.’

The ER nurse had a number of reasons why she wouldn’t let her kids use these.

‘It’s probably one of the top three things that land up in the trauma bay that I work in,’ she explained.

‘It’s really actually not the person driving the motorized thing, it is the people on the street,’ the mom continued.

‘When you look at this from a physics standpoint, a car going 50 miles per hour on a road, and scooter going 30 miles per hour on a road, when those two collide, holy s**t,’ she explained.

Armstrong said that she would never buy her kids a motorized scooter or bike, even though they may want one.

‘One day, my kids will figure out why Santa has never brought them one, and that’s because I’m Santa, and I refuse to,’ she joked at the end of the clip.

In the comments section of her video, many users seemed to agree with her rules.

‘Registered nurse mom and police officer dad here… we don’t do sleepovers either,’ one person commented.

Another agreed, ‘Retired paramedic here. Totally agree! Every single severe motorcycle accident I went to wasn’t the motorcyclist fault but the fault of the vehicle.’

‘Same on every single one. My daughter choked on a grape someone else brought in at school her teacher had to step in,’ someone else typed.

‘Physical Therapist here. No trampolines and I refused to have a diving board installed for our pool,’ one user offered.
