Midday Night And Its Alleged Disasters… A Russian Researcher Explains The Truth

According to Esmont, a solar eclipse, in any of its phases, does not affect people’s lives or life events in the area in which it is seen.

He added: “The eclipse, especially the total eclipse, leaves a strong impression on the viewer, but it does not affect his life or destiny.”

He points out that the people of ancient times lacked a scientific understanding of these phenomena, so they linked what they called “midday night” to disasters that had occurred or were about to occur.

He asserts: “Modern science knows everything about eclipses, and it can be said with certainty that this astronomical phenomenon does not affect events that occur on Earth or human lives.”

However, Esmont points out that any felt influence remains limited to each individual’s personal perception, and falls within the realm of psychology, personality traits, or individual reasoning.

“Belief that eclipses carry some kind of bad omen is similar to belief in astrology, which is officially considered a pseudoscience.”
