Cristiano Ronaldo and fiancée Georgina Rodriguez shared a tender moment together before stepping out into the spotlight for dinner at the White House.

The pair were seen at President Donald Trump’s soiree to welcome Saudi Arabia’s Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night.

In footage shared online by a talent agent, the couple took a moment to take it all in – gazing into each other’s eyes while waiting in the elevator before officially setting off for the glitzy event.

The loved-up couple looked both nervous and excited as they waited with their team,  exchanging a few coy glances which were captured in the mirrors of the elevator.

The Buenos Aires, Argentina-born model and influencer, 31, who got engaged to the superstar soccer player40, earlier this year, looked stunning in a sleek navy blue gown with an open back, which showed off her enviable figure.

The dress, which Rodriguez shared in her Instagram stories, is by designer Guy Laroche. The elegant gown had long-sleeves and draped around the midsection with a high neck. It was previously worn by actress Hilary Swank when she won an Academy Award in 2005.

She tied her sophisticated look together with stunning earrings, featuring a cluster of jaw-dropping diamonds and a large blue gemstone, pulling her dark locks back in a simple bun.

Ronaldo looked handsome in a tuxedo with his hair cut short.

The glamorous couple were seen posing in a group shot in the East Room of the White House with tech moguls including Elon Musk and Greg Brockman.

Trump paid tribute to Ronaldo during his speech at the dinner, which brought some of the world’s richest and most recognizable names to the White House.

In his speech, Trump thanked Ronaldo for earning him some extra adoration from his soccer-obsessed son, Barron, 19.

‘This room is loaded up with the biggest leaders in the world – business, sports…’ Trump said.

‘My son is a big fan of Ronaldo… Barron got to meet him and I think he respects his father a little bit now – just the fact that I introduced you.’

Ronaldo has previously voiced his desire to meet the president,

he was hopeful Trump could make inroads toward world peace.

‘If the world is at peace, that’s our goal,’ Ronaldo told the controversial figure, adding that he feels Trump ‘is one of the people who can change or help change the world.

‘And that’s my main objective: To meet Trump and talk about world peace.’

Ronaldo told Morgan: ‘If you can make it happen, he’s someone I’d really like to sit down with.’

Ronaldo, who has been active in soccer for than two decades, has ties to the Saudi crown via his status as a player on the Al-Nassr club team in the Saudi Pro League.

Later in the evening, tech founder and investor David Sacks posted a selfie from inside the event. Ronaldo took the photo, which also included Sacks, Musk, Fifa president Gianni Infantino, Rodriguez and US secretary of commerce, Howard Lutnick.

The White House also shared footage of the event, posting a video on Wednesday morning of the two men walking side by side next to The Presidential Walk of Fame.

‘Two GOATS,’ the White House captioned the footage, adding: ‘CR7 x 45/47’.

Rodriguez is also briefly seen walking alongside the pair.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2016 and share daughters Alana, seven, and two-year-old Bella.
