Beauty is pain – and Timothee Chalamet’s mom is just another fashion victim after fans noticed a bunion on her foot at the New York premiere of Marty Supreme.
Chalamet donned a bright orange ensemble for the press tour of his new film, wearing the bold look on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old chose to attend the event with his mom, Nicole Flenderwith the duo adopting the same fiery color palette for the red carpet.
Fans loved the sweet mother-son moment which saw Chalamet pose with his arms wrapped around Flender, who popped her foot up for the cameras.
However, other couldn’t help but notice a painful-looking bunion on her foot.
‘His mom’s bunion looks like it hurts,’ one eagle-eyed fan wrote after seeing a video of them on social media.
‘Oof I know his momma’s bunion toe hurt,’ agreed another.
‘With all the money you have, Timothee, your mom could finally get bunion surgery,’ snarked someone else.

A bunion is a painful, bony bump that forms at the base of the big toe, causing it to angle inward toward the other toes and making the joint stick out.

It’s not the first time the award-winning actor has asked his mom to be his red carpet date.
Chalamet brought Flender to the 2018 Oscars, when he was nominated for Best Actor for Call Me by Your Name.
They also attended the 2019 Golden Globes together.
The mother-son pair were at the 2025 SAG Awards together, with Chalamet taking home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor In A Leading Role for A Complete Unknown.
Chalamet previously stepped out in his bright-orange getup with girlfriend Kylie Jenner28, to the LA premiere of the highly anticipated film, wearing custom all-orange Chrome Hearts outfits.
The neon orange is a reference to the movie where Chalamet’s character, ping pong star Marty, suggests that white balls should be made in this particular color.

There has been much speculation over Jenner and Chalamet’s romance in recent weeks, with the pair having not been seen together since October 8, when they were glimpsed in the stands watching a baseball game at Yankee Stadium.
Jenner and Chalamet were first linked in April 2023 and went public that September when they were seen passionately kissing at a Beyoncé concert.
Although they have not shied away from being glimpsed together in public, they have kept their relationship off social media and she has refrained from mentioning his name on her family’s Hulu show, The Kardashians.
Claims have circulated that their relative privacy about their romance was because Chalamet wanted to be regarded as a serious actor.
