The two phones get larger batteries, as the Redmi Note 15 Pro comes with a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. While the Note 15 Pro 5G version gets a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 6580 mAh. Although the wired charging speed remains at 45 watts in both phones, the 5G version features support for wired reverse charging with a capacity of 22.5 watts, compared to 18 watts in the regular version.

In terms of design, Xiaomi relies on flat screens in both phones. The Note 15 Pro 5G comes with a large 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the Note 15 Pro gets a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution with the same refresh rate.
The two screens support 12bit colors and a brightness of up to 3200 nits. With the superiority of the 5G version in the touch response rate, which reaches 480 Hz compared to 240 Hz in the 4G version.
The two phones include dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technologies, in addition to improvements in water and dust resistance. The Note 15 Pro comes with an IP65 standard compared to IP64 in the previous generation, while the 5G version rises to IP68 and IP69K after being limited to IP68 only.
In terms of performance, the two phones get slightly updated MediaTek processors, with improvements in processing frequencies and the artificial intelligence unit. The Note 15 Pro is powered by a Helio G200-Ultra processor, while the Note 15 Pro 5G is based on the Dimensity 7400-Ultra, with memory options of up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage capacity.
In the photography department, the two phones maintain the same 200-megapixel main camera, with a slight difference in the wide lens between the two versions. The Note 15 Pro also comes with a 32-megapixel front camera, while the 5G version only has a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The two phones operate on the HyperOS 2.0 interface based on Android 15, with a set of artificial intelligence features from Xiaomi, such as AI Erase Pro, removing reflections, and automatically improving images.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro is available in Titanium, Ice Blue and Black, and its price starts at €349 / £249 for the 8/256GB version. As for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, it is available in additional colors, including violet, and its price starts at 399 euros / 349 pounds sterling, with pre-orders expected to start on January 5.
