Developed By University Students… Russian Nanosatellites Are Ready For Launch Within The Next Soyuz Mission




A post on the organization’s Telegram channel said: “In addition to the (Aist-2T) satellite, the Soyuz rocket, which will soon be launched into orbit soon, will carry 3 CubSat nanosatellites, developed by Russian university students to monitor climate changes and monitor space weather in low Earth orbits.”
The publication explained that the three satellites are:
Horus-5developed by Bauman Technical University in Moscow.
Vladivostok-2developed by the Russian Far Eastern Federal University.
Mursat-1developed by Amur University in cooperation with the Moscow Aviation Institute.
Roscosmos added that these satellites are equipped with advanced propulsion systems, air and sea traffic control systems, and transmission and reception systems for exchanging data with ground stations.
The corporation is scheduled to launch a Soyuz-2.1B rocket with 52 satellites from the Vostochny Space Airport on December 28.
