White Lotus star Patrick Schwarzenegger and his model wife Abby Champion got their toes in the sand on a recent trip to Abu Dhabi.

“What a beautiful time experiencing the desert,” the actor, 32, wrote in the caption of an Oct. 5 Instagram postfollowed by a desert and camel emoji.

The post, which tagged the United Arab Emirates’ capital, featured photos of the newlyweds enjoying all the city had to offer — including a front row seat at the NBA’s Abu Dhabi Games 2025.

In the first slide, Schwarzenegger and Champion, 28, posed for an adorable selfie outside the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a popular place for worship and tourist attraction in the country. The actor also shared photos from their time riding camels in the sand. In one snap, Schwarzenegger smiled side-by-side with two thumbs up next to one of the desert animals.

The couple, who wed on Sept. 6also spent time enjoying the arts. One photo shows Champion taking in a large light projection at teamLab Phenomena, a modern art museum, and another shows Schwarzenegger looking at a Cy Twombly painting series at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

The Gen v star also included clips from the Abu Dhabi Games, specifically from the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers game on Oct. 4. The event was also attended by Barry Keoghan, Victoria Justice, Adrien Brody, Kiefer Sutherland and others.

On Champion’s feedthe model shared a look at their time at the Yas Marina Circuit. The couple suited up in black racing gear and helmets before zooming around the track.

“Desert dream in Abu Dhabi,” Champion wrote in her caption.

The trip comes about a month after the couple tied the knot in an idyllic wedding overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene in northern Idaho. For the intimate gathering, Champion wore a classic white gown and Schwarzenegger dressed in a white tuxedo jacket and black pants.

The wedding took place at the Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club, a venue that the now-married duo has visited multiple times in the past, according to the Daily Mail.

The couple, who were first linked in 2015, met after Champion moved to Los Angeles, “on her own… to accomplish her dreams of becoming a supermodel,” Schwarzenegger told PEOPLE in February.

In July 2022, Schwarzenegger shared photos from another romantic getaway the couple took to the Italian island of Capri. In the photos, the famous pair appeared to enjoy the stunning scenery, swim in the clear blue waters and even wore matching grey robes in a sweet selfie.
