uaetodaynews.com — Meet the Putmans Family Shares Update on 5 Relatives Hospitalized Following Fatal Car Crash

NEED TO KNOW

  • A new update revealed that the surviving members of the Putman family are continuing to recover, with two still under care and three discharged from the hospital
  • In late September, three family members died in a tragic car accident that left several others injured
  • The family is known from their 2017 TLC show, Meet the Putmans, which followed the lives of Bill, Barb and their four children, who lived with their extended families in one massive home

The Putmans are sharing updates just over a week after a fatal car crash took the lives of three family members.

According to an Instagram post on Wednesday, Oct. 8, the survivors of the crash are recovering. The lengthy message offered updates on Blake and children Noah, Lulu and Alena, whom he shared with late wife Megan, as well as his brother Brandon’s daughter Gia.

“We wanted to share an update and continue asking for prayers for Noah, Gia, and our entire family,” it began.

“Gia had a rough night, no one got much sleep. Her ICP and blood pressure were high and unstable for a while, but praise God, the doctors were able to get things under control. She’s doing better now, and they’re focusing on keeping her stable and taking it one day at a time. They were also able to remove her chest tube today, which is such a blessing and another step forward.”

“Noah is doing well in rehab and continuing to amaze us,” it continued. “He’s been sleeping better, talking, eating, and moving around more each day. In occupational therapy today, he was walking back and forth and even bouncing a ball on the floor! His biggest area of recovery right now is cognitive therapy, but we know God is working and healing him in His perfect timing.”

“Blake, Lulu, and Alena are still recovering, but we’re thankful to share that they’ve all been discharged and are doing well,” the update revealed. “We can truly feel the power of your prayers and God’s presence through every up and down. Please continue to keep the faith and keep praying for Noah, Gia, and our family as we talk this long road of healing.”

The caption referenced the Bible verse Romans 8:28, which says, “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

The family is known for their faith, which was a central theme in their 2017 TLC show, Meet the Putmans, which ran for six episodes and followed the lives of Bill, Barb and their four children, who lived with their extended families in one massive home.
