Mandy Moore Wants To Do Family Costume With Husband, 3 Kids For Halloween (Exclusive)

Mandy Moore‘s Halloween preparations have begun.

The actress and singer, 41, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that she wants to do a group costume with her family to mark the holiday this year.

“I’m trying to push to do a family Halloween theme this year,” Moore — who shares sons August “Gus” Harrison4, and Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett3, plus daughter Louise “Lou” Everett1, with husband Taylor Goldsmith — says.

“They’ve never wanted to do it before,” adds the star. “I feel like we’re kind of floating into the best part of the year, so I’m super excited.”

As for some thoughts on what the family of five’s Halloween theme should be, Moore admits she’s considering Star Wars and Toy Storyamong other ideas.

Moore and Goldsmith, 40, have gone all out celebrating Halloween with their three children in recent years.

In 2024, Gus wore a red dragon costume and Gus went as a sanitation worker, wearing a signature fluorescent vest. Lou, meanwhile, marked the occasion wearing an orange onesie that read, “My First Halloween.”

Currently, Moore — who has partnered with anti-RSV medication Beyfortus — is giving her all as a mom to three children under the age of 4.

“I know that there are seasons of life, but this particular season and chapter is all hands on deck,” the This Is Us alum says. “It’s also the greatest thing in the world.”

“My husband and I (recently) looked at each other like, ‘This is a lot, but I wouldn’t have it any other way,’ ” she adds.
