Mercedes-AMG’s 16th DTM Manufacturers’ Championship win at Hockenheimring last weekend set the stage for a new collaboration with MSI. To celebrate Mercedes-AMG’s 16th DTM Manufacturers’ Championship win at Hockenheimring, MSI has introduced two new Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition laptops: the Stealth A16 AI+ and the Prestige 16 AI+.

Prestige 16 AI+: Business laptop with AMG styling

The Prestige 16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition (B2VMG-209) is MSI’s first business laptop created with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. It features AMG’s signature gray and silver finish with red accents and laser-engraved AMG Motorsport logos. The chassis is made from a magnesium-aluminum alloy, keeping the weight at 1.5 kilograms and thickness at just under 19 millimeters.

It runs on the Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 288V (8-core, up to 5.10 GHz, 12 MB SmartCache) with an integrated NPU delivering up to 48 NPU TOPS (120 AI TOPS total). The laptop includes 32 GB LPDDR5X-8533 dual-channel RAM and a 2 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. Graphics are handled by the Intel Arc 140V GPU. The device runs Windows 11 Pro and qualifies as a Copilot+ PC with AI-powered features.

The 16-inch OLED display has a UHD+ resolution of 3,840×2,400 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 and fully covers the DCI-P3 color space for accurate and vibrant visuals.

Connectivity options include 2× Thunderbolt 4 ports (with DisplayPort and USB-PD 3.0 up to 100W), 1× USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, 1× HDMI 2.1 port (4K/120Hz, 8K/60Hz), 1× SD (XC/HC) card reader, a Gigabit LAN port, Wi-Fi 7 (Intel Killer BE1750), and Bluetooth 5.4.

Security features include authentication via IR facial recognition or a fingerprint scanner built into the “Start Engine” button, FIDO2, dTPM 2.0, Microsoft Pluton, MSI Smart Guard, and a Kensington Security Slot. It also has ambient light and proximity sensors for better usability.

The 5 MP webcam (1944p at 30 fps) has an IR sensor, privacy cover, AI Noise Reduction+, and a spatial triple-array microphone. Audio is managed by DTS Audio Processing with stereo speakers. The 99.9 Wh Li-polymer battery and 100 W USB-PD power adapter provide strong battery life.

The Prestige 16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition is priced at €2,199 and includes a co-branded accessory set with a wireless mouse, mouse pad, and laptop sleeve.

Stealth A16 AI+: Slim gaming laptop with AMG precision

The Stealth A16 AI+ is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with up to 80 AI TOPS, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU featuring 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM. This setup supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Max-Q technologies, delivering smooth gaming performance and enhanced AI-driven graphics processing. The system runs on Windows 11 Home and supports Copilot+ PC features for AI-based productivity.

The laptop features a 16-inch QHD+ OLED display with 2560 × 1600 resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color accuracy for crisp visuals and deep contrast. It comes in a magnesium-aluminum chassis finished in Mercedes’ signature Selenite Greywith AMG racing accents and a power button inspired by the engine start switch.

Audio quality is handled by a Dynaudio six-speaker system with Hi-Res certification and force-cancelling technology for stronger bass and reduced vibration. Additional features include 32 GB DDR5 RAM, 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 99.9 Wh battery for extended mobility.

The Prestige 16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition is available on the MSI e-shop and notebooksbilliger.de for €2,199. The Stealth A16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition is priced at €2,899. Both models are now available in select markets.
