The new list saw the qualification of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, England, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Cape Verde, and Ghana, bringing the total number of teams qualified so far to 28 teams.

One of the most prominent features of this list is the presence of seven Arab teams, namely Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, in an unprecedented Arab achievement.

The next edition of the World Cup will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada with the participation of 48 teams for the first time in history, after the decision of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to expand the number of teams from 32 to 48, which opens the door to wider participation of developing continents and emerging teams.

The following are the teams that have qualified so far for the 2026 World Cup finals:

Host teams: United States – Mexico – Canada.
Europe: England.

Asia: Jordan – Australia – Iran – Japan – South Korea – Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia – Qatar.

South America: Brazil – Argentina – Colombia – Ecuador – Paraguay – Uruguay.

Africa: Egypt – Algeria – Morocco – Tunisia – Ghana – Cape Verde – South Africa – Senegal – Côte d’Ivoire.
