Megyn Kelly is getting into the festive spirit – and she’s brought her husband, Douglas Brunt, in on it.

Fans were delighted after the conservative TV and podcast host shared a snippet of The Megyn Kelly Show online, which featured her husband of almost 20 years, and a sweet look into their longtime marriage.

The pair sipped on eggnog while reminiscing about the many Christmases they had spent together, joking that one year before they had kids, their diet consisted mainly of the sweetened holiday drink, which resulted in a few pounds gained.

‘We both blew up like a tick,’ the former Fox anchor joked. ‘We were huge.’

‘The reason that we’re doing this is A) why not? It’s that time of year,’ Kelly, 55, explained.

‘But B) on Doug’s podcast, which is called Dedicated with Doug Brunt, he interviews authors and talks about their books, but he always pours them a cocktail of choice,’ she continued.

While Kelly pointed out that eggnog could be nonalcoholic or have liquor, Brunt, 54, joked, ‘It’s almost always alcohol, thank God.’

He was seen making them drinks using Rye, which is similar to Bourbon.

As they were drinking the two couldn’t stop gushing over one another, with Kelly looking adoringly at her husband and saying, ‘I love you, honey.’

Brunt then slipped in a quick, ‘Love you,’ as they each took a sip of the festive drink.

Viewers were thrilled to have a peek into the couple’s marriage, which is still going strong after 17 years together. The pair share three children, sons Yates, 16, and Thatcher, 12, and daughter Yardley, 14.

‘I always thought to myself, “I wonder if Doug can hold his own with Megyn or does she rule the roost?”’ one fan wrote in the comments.

They continued: ‘This banter settles it for me. They are on the same page. They talk the same speed. Cheers to you both.’

‘So handsome and smart… the epitome of “the power couple”‘ gushed another.

A third wrote: ‘You guys are such a cute couple! Love when you have him on. I want to hear about the next book!’

‘You two are the cutest!’ said someone else, with another declaring: ‘Beautiful couple, great interaction.’

The pair often talk about their love for one another.

In November, Brunt shared a gushing post to Instagram for Kelly’s birthday.

‘Happy Birthday to my incredible wife,’ he wrote in the post, along with a snap of the two.

‘You become beautiful every day (I’m not repeating a cliche – it’s real!) It’s so fun raising a family and going through life with you – you make everything awesome. I love you.’

Brunt is Kelly’s second husband. She was previously married to Dr Daniel Kendall but the two divorced in 2006 after five years of marriage.

In 2016, Brunt admitted they didn’t have the smoothest start to their relationship, with Kelly surrounded by security when they went on their first date due to the threat of a stalker.

Brunt was speaking with the Humans of New York photographer Brandon Stanton at the Met Gala when he revealed intimate details of their first outing together.

‘We started dating shortly after she acquired a stalker – bad start, I know,’ said Brunt.

‘So she had security with her 24/7. Our first date went great. It was the kind of night that was clearly going to end with a kiss.

‘But I had to kiss her in front of the security guards. It was awkward. It was like our parents were watching.

‘The next morning she knocked on my hotel room door. She was alone. She walked into the room and said: “I can do better.”‘

The couple married six months after Brunt proposed in 2008.
