The Blind Side‘s Quinton Aaron is celebrating a personal milestone.
On Sunday, Oct. 12, the actor, 41, revealed that he’s lost 200 lbs. in his weight-loss journey while sharing two side-by-side photos of his body transformation on Instagram.
“I am overwhelmed and blessed to announce that I have reached another cool milestone in my life,” Aaron wrote in the caption. “Today, when weighing myself, I noticed that I reached the 200-pound marker.”
He explained in the post that he’d gone from his heaviest weight of 575 lbs. down to 375 lbs. after weighing himself that morning. “I know right, AMAZING!!! 🥳🎉 I have 55 more pounds to go to reach my over all goal of 320 lbs.,” he said, adding, “I GOT THIS!!!”

The update comes after Aaron shared in an Instagram post in July that he’d lost 150 lbs. He celebrated the accomplishment by posting two photos of himself in a suit.
“I just wanna say I always look good in a suit if I might say so myself but, dammit if I don’t look #supafly rockin the #bowtie and being 150lbs lighter in this picture than the one on the left,” he captioned the post.
In February 2022, Aaron opened up about his weight loss journey after embarking on a new lifestyle at the start of the year. The actor revealed to TMZ at the time that he’d gained weight during COVID-19 due to binge-eating and vowed to change his lifestyle habits by changing his diet and going to the gym.
In an interview with the Recovery Vow podcast in September, Aaron discussed his binge-eating further.
“Food was my drug,” he said. “I was eating when I wasn’t even hungry. Just going out and buying food and sitting in my car in the parking lot, eating it and crying and not knowing why. I’m like, ‘Why do I feel this way?’”
In 2012, two years after appearing in his breakout role in The Blind SideAaron launched The Aaron Quinton Foundation for anti-bullying, which partly deals with childhood obesity, per ABC News.
“There’s a lot of kids that get picked on because of their outer appearance and not everyone has had the luxury of growing up knowing the right foods to eat or knowing what a healthier lifestyle is,” he said.
