The match was held on Wednesday evening at the Elias Figueroa Brander Stadium in the Chilean city of Valparaiso, amid great public anticipation.

The two teams then decided to go to extra time, but the result remained the same, noting that the match witnessed the expulsion of French player Rabbi Nzingula in the second extra period for receiving two warnings.

The two teams resorted to penalty kicks, which eventually won the Moroccan team 5-4.

This is the first time that the Moroccan national team has qualified for the final of the Youth World Cup, knowing that it reached the semi-finals in the 2005 edition.

With this historic victory, the Moroccan team sets a date in the final match with the winner of the other semi-final match between Argentina and Colombia.

The match is scheduled to be held at dawn next Sunday.
