Celebrity cook Ina Garten, 77, has been brutally roasted online after she seemingly didn’t know what a vending machine is called.
Over the weekend, Garten took to her social media pages to show off a luxurious vending machine she had come across in The Hamptons that solely serves cheese and crackers.
She snapped a pic of the machine, which was filled with all different kinds of cheeses, olives, and crackers, and shared i online.
But when she referred to it as an ATM rather than a vending machine, her followers were left amused.
‘Only in the Hamptons! A cheese and crackers ATM that’s open 24/7! Thank you Cavaniola’s in Sag Harbor!’ Garten wrote in the caption of the post.
Many fans were quick to poke fun at the fact that she didn’t seem to know that it was in fact a vending machine that she was looking at.
‘The poors call this a vending machine not an ATM,’ one person teased in a comment on Instagram.
Someone else typed, ‘Not really an ATM. It’s a vending machine. You don’t buy cheese and crackers from a teller. Not anywhere. Automated of not.’

In one excerpt of her memoir, Garten even shared that after she started running her own business, she realized she couldn’t ‘live with him in the traditional “man and wife” relationship anymore.’
‘When I bought Barefoot Contessa, I shattered our traditional roles – took a baseball bat to them and left them in pieces,’ she wrote.
‘While I was still cooking, cleaning, shopping, managing at the store, I was doing it as a businesswoman, not a wife.
‘I just couldn’t live with him in a traditional “man and wife” relationship. Jeffrey hadn’t done anything wrong.
‘He was just doing what every man before him had done. But we were living in a new era, and that behavior wasn’t OK with me anymore. I had changed.’
Although at one time she considered divorce, the two thankfully overcame their problems and have been married for 56 years.
On his 77th birthday last November, Garten shared a touching tribute to to her husband.
‘Happy birthday to my darling husband Jeffrey. I’ve loved you madly for almost 60 years and I’m just getting started,’ she gushed.

Garten began her career off by working as the White House budget analyst, while slowly refining her cooking skills.
She left her government job in 1978 and purchased a food store in New York called Barefoot Contessa.
The acclaimed chef spent more than two decades growing her business, and released her first cookbook in 1999.
The book was hugely successful and launched career as a cook.
The cook began making frequent appearances on Martha Stewart’s show after that, before landing her own Food Network program, called Barefoot Contessa, in 2002.
Since then, Garten has released a whopping 13 cookbooks in total and has embarked on a slew of other business endeavors. Her show went on for 29 seasons before coming to an end in 2021.
