A snap shared to social media showed Maples – who became a grandmother this year after her daughter, Tiffany Trumpgave birth to a baby boy – lifting a 40-pound weight and posing next to her trainer.

The former model showed off her lean physique in a black sports bra and black tights.

Her blonde hair was pulled back and tied in a pony tail, with strands of hair framing her face.

The picture was posted by Von Archer Fitness & Lifestyle Instagram page, tagging Maples, who reposted it.

Maples loves to exercise, often sharing her workouts and gym routines to social media.

In June, Maples shared a snippet of her intense workout routine – and it definitely doesn’t seem like it’s for the faint hearted.

Wearing an American flag hat and donning dark blue tights with a white tank, the TV personality was doing squats while holding a weighted ball.

Before that, the singer shared a video working out again, where she and her trainer both held weighted balls and completed jump squats along the gym floor.

‘So here I am – working hard, staying strong, and finding the giggles in the grit,’ she captioned the video.

She continued: ‘When you show up with intention and carry it through the challenge, you don’t just grow – you rise.’

Maples doesn’t only spend time at the gym, as she has also given followers snippets into her wellness journey on social media, which includes reformer Pilates, hiking and yoga.

The TV presenter has always preached about taking care of your body, even releasing her own workout VHS, titled Journey to Fitness in 1998.

In 2017, she spoke to People about her love of health and wellness.

‘(I am) committed to helping others be the healthiest and best they can be through food and exercise choices so they can enjoy a joyful and healthy life,’ she told the publication.

She previously shared her go-to workouts, saying she: swims, play competitive tennis, shoot hoops, takes Iyengar yoga classes and weight trains to keep healthy

Maples, who is semi-vegan, also added she grew up eating meat, but these days her mostly vegan diet is packed with plenty of vegetables, juices and gluten-free grains.

She explained that she was actually a vegetarian until she read Eat Right 4 Your Type, a diet book that claims people should be tailoring their nutrition to their blood types.

‘I am a solid O+ which means a bit of lamb, beef or wild game is actually a boost for my lineage of Cherokee American roots,’ Maples said of her diet, which now allows the occasional piece of meat.

She also shared her go-to workouts, saying she: swims, play competitive tennis, shoot hoops, takes Iyengar yoga classes and weight trains to keep healthy.

Although she is known for her slender figure and youthful appearance, Maples revealed in a 2008 interview with Naturally Savvy that was actually about 25 pounds heavier when she had just gotten out of college.

‘I tried so many diets and exercise fads but what really helped me to get into my best shape was to include visualization in my process,’ she said.

‘I would see and “feel” myself running down the beach with limitless energy, feeling strong, healthy and vibrant.

‘I have used this technique in sports, rush hour and in beauty. Believe your thoughts with absolute certainty and remember to make them positive ones!’
