Nearly a month after its launch ChinaRealme GT 8 Pro is ready to enter global markets, presenting itself as the most powerful Realme phone to date. The phone is based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and comes with three professional cameras and a huge 7,000mAh Si/C battery with 120W fast charging.
The phone is also the first Realme device to receive the Ricoh GR treatment with the iconic color combination of the famous cameras. In addition to the changeable camera frame feature, it gives the user greater freedom to customize the look of the device. These various shapes of camera frames can be purchased through official stores, as they are easy to change and obtain a different look.
The Realme GT 8 Pro phone is now available in global markets
The front houses a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ (3136 x 1440) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Its brightness reaches 2000 lumens in normal conditions and can reach 7000 lumens in difficult conditions.
This brightness is considered one of the highest numbers currently on the smartphone market. There is an ultrasonic fingerprint under the screen, in addition to a 32-megapixel front camera.
The primary camera comes with a 50MP resolution with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and an f/1.8 lens aperture. It supports the classic Ricoh equivalent lengths: 28mm and 40mm, along with 5 Ricoh GR shooting modes such as Positive, Monochrome and High-Contrast B&W.
The second camera is a 200MP periscope with a 65mm equivalent focal length, with 3x optical zoom and Lossless zoom up to 12x. It relies on a 1/1.56-inch ISOCELL HP5 sensor and supports a dual-axis OIS optical stabilizer.
The third camera is 50MP with a 116-degree wide angle and f/2.0 lens aperture. The phone supports video recording up to 8K@30fps.
Aside from performance and cameras, the phone provides the highest levels of protection against water and dust with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 standards. It runs on the Realme UI 7 interface based on Android 16, which we talked about in detail in a previous news.
The phone is available globally in the following colors: Diary White and Urban Blue, in addition to a limited version called the Dream Edition in green. Its price in India starts at 72,999 rupees (about $823) for the 12/256GB version, and sales start from November 25 through Realme stores and its partners.
