An Australian content creator has sent fast-food lovers into a frenzy after revealing a little-known hack that lets you order a double soft-serve cone at both Hungry Jack’s and McDonald’s – and it costs barely than a dollar.

Fashion influencer Brittney Saunders shared the discovery while filming a casual snack run with her partner, who looked utterly mortified as she attempted the order.

‘Am I able to order two soft serves in one cone?’ she asked staff through the drive-thru window.

Moments later, she was handed a towering treat boasting eight swirls of ice-cream piled into a single cone – and Brittney could barely contain herself.

‘My partner is so embarrassed that I ordered that,’ she laughed, holding the giant cone.

‘I’m so happy about this.’

The video immediately went viral as thousands of Aussies rushed to the comments to praise the ‘genius’ hack – and to confess they had never realised it was possible.

‘All my years working at McDonald’s I never had someone ask this – your brain is on another level,’ one amazed viewer wrote.

‘Free will at its finest,’ joked another.

Others declared Brittney had just ‘started a new trend’, while one longtime fast-food worker admitted they used to secretly make mega-cones behind the counter.

‘When I worked at Macca’s I’d stack the swirls and giggle when I passed it through the window. Customers were always so impressed.’

Several Aussies were already planning their next dessert run.

‘This is a great idea – I’ll be doing this next time, worth the $1,’ someone said.

‘I didn’t know you could do this but it’s a vibe,’ added another.

Many joked Hungry Jack’s and McDonald’s should make a large soft-serve a permanent menu item.

‘Honestly they just need to make a large option! I’m too embarrassed to ask, but a normal is never enough.’

Whether the hack becomes an official menu upgrade remains to be seen – but for now, Aussies keen for an oversized sugar hit need only ask for ‘two soft serves in one cone’ and hope the staff are feeling generous with the swirls.
