Honor Magic8 Pro phone officially launched in China

The Honor Magic 8 Pro phone offers a triple rear camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and an f/2.6 lens aperture to give you 3.7X optical zoom. The primary camera is 50 megapixels with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and f/1.6 lens aperture. The third camera is 50 megapixels for 122-degree wide-angle photography. There is a 50-megapixel front camera on the screen, located inside a small hole. Video can be recorded in 8K quality from the primary rear camera or 4K from the front camera.

Speaking of the display, the phone uses a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 1256X2808 pixels and the brightness reaches 6000 nits. Honor also added a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint under the screen, and the phone supports facial recognition technology. The battery has a capacity of 7200 mAh, of the silicon-carbon type, but the global version will come with a smaller battery with a capacity of 6270 mAh. The phone supports 100-watt fast charging technology and 80-watt wireless charging.

The Magic8 Pro phone runs on the Android 16 operating system and the MagicOS 10 interface, which contains many artificial intelligence features. Now you have a new customizable button through which you can access these features with a long press. The phone also features an IP68/69/69K rating for water and dust resistance, and the design is available in the following colors: gold, blue, and black. The weight is about 213 grams and the thickness of the side frame is only 8.4 mm.

A second 50-megapixel camera for wide-angle photography, and a third 50-megapixel camera for 3X zoom. As for selfies, it comes with a 50-megapixel front camera.

The difference here is that the basic model does not get the depth camera on the front, which is used in facial recognition technology. However, the phone provides an ultrasonic fingerprint under the screen to provide the same response and speed as the Pro model. Honor Magic8 has a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. The design is available in almost the same colors: gold, black and blue.

Both phones are now available for pre-order in China, and sales are scheduled to begin on October 23. The price of the basic model starts at 630 US dollars for a capacity of 256/12 GB, and the price reaches $770 for a capacity of 1000/16 GB. As for the Magic8 Pro, its price starts at $800 for a 256/12 GB capacity, and the price reaches $940 for a 1000/16 GB capacity.
