‘You can even tuck your leather leggings into a pair of riding boots and add a barn jacket for an on-trend look with a bit of an edge,’ Boyer advised.

For women who don’t want a tight pair of leggings and aren’t sure about committing to an expensive and tight leather pant, an elevated trouser is the way to go.

‘My favorite way to style leather pants this season is to opt for a modern cut, like a boot-cut or flare pant,’ Boyer said, explaining that ‘for women over 50, this is a great way to stay up to date.’

‘A boot-cut or flare leather pant also offers a little room, making it flattering for most body types,’ Boyer said.
