Russia Is Testing The Durability Of The Atom Electric Car

uaetodaynews.com — Russia is testing the durability of the Atom electric car

The company indicated that it tested many parts and structures of the Atom cars that were assembled before the start of the serial production process of this vehicle.

To date, the company’s experts have conducted 9 tests, including a direct collision of the car’s body with a solid wall at a speed of 50 km/h, a frontal collision of the car’s body at a speed of 100 km/h, and a side collision of the car’s body with a column at a speed of 32 km/h.

According to the company, test results showed that the car meets the standards required to protect passengers during accidents. Experts at KAMA also indicated that they will subject the car to two additional rounds of tests to further verify its safety specifications.

Last year, the Russian company “KAMA” revealed the prototype of the Atom electric car, which it is developing to compete with the best electric cars currently available, and this car is expected to appear in the Russian markets in the middle of this year.
