At least he’s a New York Giants fan, right?

Eli Manning revealed that his 7-year-old son Charlie is dressing up as New York Giants first-year quarterback Jaxson Dart for Halloween when speaking with his brother Peyton Manning during a recent episode of ManningCast.

“Charlie’s dressing up as Jaxson Dart for Halloween,” Eli, 44, told Peyton, 49, of the 22-year-old rookie QB during the Monday Night Broadcast of the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Washington Commanders on Oct. 27.

In classic big-brother fashion, Peyton hit him with a tough-to-hear question.

“Does it hurt? Does it hurt that he’s picking another Giants quarterback over you?” the retired NFL star, who played for the Indianapolis Colts from 1998 to 2011 and the Denver Broncos from 2012 to 2015, asked his brother.

“It hurts a little bit,” admitted Eli, who played his entire 16-year NFL career with the New York Giants from 2004 to 2019. He also led them to two Super Bowl wins in 2008 and 2012.

Then, the dad of four — who has daughters Ava, 14, Lucy, 12, Caroline, 10, and son Charlie — went on to describe his son’s Dart costume.

“He’s got the chain, which is nice,” explained Eli, a reference to the “good luck” necklace the first-year player’s been known to wear every Giants game.

Meanwhile, just when Eli thought one day wearing a different Giants quarterback’s getup was tough enough, he revealed that Halloween isn’t the only day his son has in mind to sport the costume.

“The problem is… we got it last week and he wants to wear it to school every day,” shared a playfully frustrated Eli. “No, no, no. Halloween costume. Just on Friday. You only get one day to wear it.”

“So, I think he was trying to outsmart us,” he continued. “That was his excuse to get a chain that he could wear full time.”

Dart has established himself as a fan favorite since being selected 25th overall by the Giants in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Not only did he lead the Giants to their first win of the season during Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, but he’s been able to secure another victory for the team (and restore confidence — and hope — in its fanbase) in the weeks that followed.

Dart, who stepped up as quarterback to replace Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson against the Chargers on Sept. 28, went on to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles with a shocking 34-17 upset against the reigning Super Bowl champion team on their home turf in Week 6 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

As for the heart-shaped, diamond-encrusted necklace that hangs noticeably around his neck each game, the rookie QB shared the significance behind the jewelry when he was asked by reporters about it after his first practice of rookie minicamp.

“So, my little sister had it, it was hers,” a smiling Dart said during a press conference in May. “It was before our bowl game and as I was leaving the house over Christmas — a little break before the bowl game — and just saw it in her room. And I was like, ‘You know what, I kind of like it.’ ”

“So, I put it on and it’s kind of been good luck for me ever since,” he shared.
