Oppo has officially announced its new Oppo A6s 5G phone, which has already been listed on the company’s official website. The phone comes with powerful specifications in its class, with a clear focus on the battery and fast charging.

The Oppo A6s 5G includes a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1570 pixels, and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate with a 240 Hz touch response rate. In addition to a brightness of up to 1125 lumens, which provides a smooth and clear user experience in various lighting conditions.

The phone is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 memory with three options:

• 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage
• 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage
• 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage

In terms of photography and cameras, the phone comes with a 50-megapixel main rear camera along with a 2-megapixel monochrome camera, while the front camera relies on a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

One of the most prominent strengths of the Oppo A6s 5G is the battery, as it comes with a huge 7000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, and Oppo confirms that a full charge takes only about 64 minutes.

The phone has an IP69 standard for water and dust resistance, and Oppo also offers what it calls “60-month smoothness protection,” meaning that the phone will maintain its performance and smoothness for up to five years of use. In terms of design, the phone is 8.61 mm thick and weighs 216 grams, and will be available in two colors: Cappuccino Brown and Ice White.

The Oppo A6s 5G runs on the ColorOS 15 interface based on Android 15, despite the official launch of Android 16 in mid-2025, which may not satisfy some users looking for the latest version of the system.
