Moscow Public Transport Company Expands Its Fleet With Largus Electric Cars




The company indicated that it received 33 Lada e-Largus cars intended for transporting passengers and goods, at the initiative of the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Maxim Liksutov.
The company’s media office stated that the vehicles obtained from the Russian company AvtoVAZ will be used to transport employees and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance of public transport infrastructure in Moscow, and all of these vehicles are equipped with fully Russian-made batteries.
For his part, AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov confirmed that the company seeks to expand the production of electric cars, expressing his hope to supply the private sector in Russia with “e-Largus” cars.
Lada e-Largus cars are characterized by a streamlined structure and a modified suspension system compared to the traditional Largus versions. They are also equipped with 15-inch wheels. The passenger versions have a rear trunk with a capacity of 560 liters, while the trunk of the cargo versions has a capacity of 2,540 liters and can transport loads weighing up to 500 kg.
These vehicles can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 10 seconds, and reach a speed of 145 km/h. They are also equipped with automatic gearboxes and driving systems suitable for various types of roads, and are equipped with meters and digital screens that show the driver the speed, battery charge, and many information about the operation of the vehicle and its systems.
