The View Sparks Outrage After Confirming Marjorie Taylor Greenes Shock Return To The Show
The View has confirmed Marjorie Taylor Greene is returning to the show this week following her explosive November appearance.
The former Republican Congresswoman, 51, will join Whoopi GoldbergAlyssa Farrah Griffin, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin live on the program on Wednesday, January 7.
Taylor Greene’s appearance comes after she sensationally quit Congress at the end of November following a dramatic fallout with longtime ally President Donald Trump – just weeks after she made headlines for going on the ABC show.
The announcement of Taylor Greene’s booking has not gone down well with fans of The View, who have begged producers to ‘stop giving her airtime.’
Taking to X, formerly Twitterone said: ‘You fall for this every time. She hasn’t changed. Stop normalizing horrible people.’
Another slammed: ‘So um, I’m gonna need The View to stop treating Marjorie Taylor Greene like she’s suddenly Queen Elizabeth II.
‘I don’t care that she’s speaking out against Trump now… she’s still a SNAKE and part of why we’re in this mess!’
‘Why do we need to hear from Marjorie Taylor Greene AGAIN tomorrow?’ a third asked.

The former Republican Congresswoman stepped down from her role in office on January 5
Taylor Greene announced her departure from Congress in a lengthy statement and 10-minute video, in which she branded the president ‘hateful’ over his decision to retract his endorsement of her.
The Georgia lawmaker cited a growing disgust with the political establishment in Washington and her fight for the release of the so-called Epstein files which formed the brunt of her feud with Trump.
She raged against the ‘political industrial complex’ which she claimed uses Americans as ‘pawns in an endless game of division’.
Greene said that it would be unfair for her ‘sweet little district’ to ‘endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the president we all fought for’ and even added that ‘Republicans will likely lose the midterms’.
She went on to claim she has ‘always been despised in Washington, DC, and just never fit in’.
The Republican also said that she was leaving to spend time with her family amid constant death threats she claimed she received in the wake of her clash with with the president.
Her last day in office was January 5.
Taylor Greene last appeared on The View at the beginning of November.
MTG’s booking has not gone down well with fans of The View, who have begged producers to ‘stop giving her airtime’
Following news of her resignation, rumors swirled that she could be on the ‘shortlist’ to join the program in a permanent capacity.
Moments after her bombshell announcement, former View star Meghan McCain posted to X and speculated: ‘I knew she was going to be the next co-host of The View!’
Speaking to Daily Mail, a View producer said ‘never say never’ when it comes to MTG joining the long-running show.
‘She was actually really lovely behind the scenes – no one expected that,’ the insider said.
‘And I know that we had a lot social media engagement that day. Before she was on, I’d have been like “absolutely not”, but now I could see the vision if they decided to go that route,’ they continued.
‘I don’t think it’s in the immediate plans or anything, but she is definitely someone who would be on a shortlist.’
