I was mid-scroll when Kendall Jenner popped up on my Instagram feed doing what she does best – casually serving beauty inspo that immediately makes me want to overhaul my makeup bag.

In a short, no-frills video, she shared her go-to ‘holiday red’ lip combo and naturally, I paused, rewound and watched again. Because when the 30-year-old model says something is her favourite, especially when it comes to a classic red lip, I’m listening.

What really caught my attention, though, was that this wasn’t one of those ‘looks’ that requires a celebrity MUA and a three-figure spend. Instead, Jenner revealed that her festive red lip is entirely L’Oréal Paris. Yep – high street, easy to get and something we can actually recreate. Consider me intrigued.

So, I did what any beauty editor would do and went into full sleuthing mode. Zooming in, replaying the clip (several times), cross-referencing shades – and I’m pretty confident we’ve cracked the exact combo she’s wearing.

First up, she lines her lips with the L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Lip Liner Couture in ‘1990 Le Bordeaux’ – a deep, wine-toned red that gives that softly defined, French-girl outline.

Then comes the star of the show: the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Laque Resistance in ‘415 Red Bisou’, a glossy-yet-long-wearing red that somehow manages to look both classic and fresh at the same time.

And because Kendall Jenner never overdoes it, she finishes the look with a swipe of the new L’Oréal Telescopic Extensionist Mascara to keep things natural everywhere else. I’ll admit, it’s one I haven’t tried yet – but watching her long, defined lashes in that video has officially convinced me.
