Starbucks’ 2025 Holiday Menu Is Here

  • Starbucks’ holiday menu launches nationwide on November 6, bringing back seasonal favorites like the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, and Iced Sugar Cookie Latte.
  • The Eggnog Latte, first introduced in 1986, returns nationwide later this season after a multi-year hiatus and fan-led campaign for its comeback.
  • New holiday treats join returning bakery staples such as the Snowman Cookie and Cranberry Bliss Bar, making for a festive start to the season.

Temperatures haven’t cooled much across the United States, but Starbucks is already thinking about the winter holiday season.

The holiday menu will be available at Starbucks nationwide beginning November 6, the chain tells Food & Wine. Red Cup Day — the annual celebration complete with complimentary holiday cups — is slated for an unnamed date later in the season. While the company hasn’t revealed any new drinks for this year, Starbucks has promised to bring back an all-time favorite flavor that hasn’t been available in years.

Similar to its autumn rollout, Starbucks is splitting this winter menu into two parts. The first phase features the return of several fan-favorite classics — Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Gingerbread Chai, and the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte — all of which will be available starting November 6. Later in the season, on an unspecified date, the Chestnut Praline Latte and the longtime favorite Eggnog Latte are expected to return.

The creamy latte was first introduced in 1986, establishing itself as one of Starbucks’ earliest seasonal items. (The Pumpkin Spice Latte dropped in 2003.) Its reputation among fierce fans precedes it: Starbucks apologized in 2014 after taking eggnog off its menu, with USA Today reporting that then-spokesperson Linda Mills said they “made a mistake.” Supply chain issues, evidently, were to blame.

In the early days of social media brand backlash, Starbucks regulars of 2014 leveraged the power at their quick-typing fingertips to resurrect it. They weren’t as fortunate in 2021, when the Eggnog was last removed from seasonal menus. It reappeared exclusively at Starbucks Reserve Roasteries last year (perhaps as a test run), while a Change.org petition pleading for its nationwide return gained nearly 5,000 signatures.

Last week, food blogger Markie Devo shared rumors about the Eggnog Latte (and its matching cold foam) on his social media pages. And dear reader, the comments are brimming with celebration.

As for the rest of the winter menu, two new treats are coming to Starbucks locations. You can look forward to a Polar Bear Cake Pop and Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread (the latter of which has been circulating on social media lately). Returning favorites include the Snowman Cookie, Cranberry Bliss Bar, and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish.

Can’t wait that long? Grocery items are already rolling out at select retailers, Starbucks says. Creamers, ready-to-drink coffees, Keurig, and Nespresso pods are hitting shelves this week. With seasonal flavors such as Peppermint Mocha, Chestnut Praline, and Sugar Cookie Latte, we’re seeing boundless holiday joy to explore. Upcoming bagged coffee blends include the Thanksgiving Blend, Christmas Blend, Christmas Blonde Roast, and Holiday Blend.

Already mapping out your holiday plans? Add this to your gift wishlist: Hello Kitty and Starbucks merch is soon heading to cafés nationwide. Shop a collection of tumblers, mugs, and even a plush Kitty (complete with a green apron) starting at $25.

Starbucks says it’s onboarding the beloved cartoon cat to “celebrate friendship” and evoke comforting nostalgia through their first-ever collaboration. The collection will be available at participating Starbucks locations across the United States and Canada starting November 6 — making it an easy gift to snag while you’re picking up the first Eggnog Latte of the season.

By the looks of it, things are already shaping up to be merry and bright.
