Oppo launched its Find X9 series in China with bold colors and flagship specs but seems to have toned things down for global markets. Recent leaks suggest a subtler approach this time, with fewer color options and a minimalist design as the October 28 global debut nears.

Tipster Arsène Lupin has now shared high-res images of both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in its global finishes, reaffirming earlier claims from Sudhanshu Ambhore. The pro model will seemingly come in just Charcoal and White, trading China’s variety for a more premium look.

The standard Find X9 continues that restrained theme with Black and Grey finishes. Sadly, the striking Velvet Red from the Chinese release won’t make it globally. Importers like Giztop are expected to carry those versions, though without global warranty or full ColorOS 16 support.

This pared-down palette likely reflects Oppo’s strategy to simplify inventory, but some fans see it as a step back from the expressive Find X8 lineup. Still, the design feels more polished and mature—something a Reddit user called “familiar but fresher.”

Under the hood, the phones keep their flagship punch. Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, the Find X9 and Pro pack 7,025 mAh and 7,500 mAh batteries, respectively, with 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. Displays measure 6.59 inches and 6.78 inches, both 1.5 K LTPO AMOLEDs with 120 Hz refresh and up to 3,600 nits brightness. The cameras are tuned by Hasselblad, featuring a 50MP LYT-808 main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP 3× telephoto on the Pro model.
