Taylor Swift fans couldn’t help but notice a striking similarity between Carly Rae Jepsen’s wedding dress and a gown worn by the pop star in one of her music videos.

Jepsen, 39, married music producer Cole M.G.N. during a romantic ceremony at the iconic Chelsea Hotel in New York City earlier this month.

The Call Me Maybe singer, who announced her engagement last year in September, walked down the aisle on October 4 with 100 guests in attendance at the nuptials, per Vogue.

For the milestone occasion, Jepsen wore two different dresses, the first of which was from Australian designer Toni Maticevski, who also designed the dress Swift, 35, wore in her music video for her song Fortnight.

The white gown was strapless and contained bunched fabric around Jepsen’s lower waist as well as a fitted corset bodice.

Pointing out the strikingly similarities between Jepsen’s wedding gown and Swift’s Fortnight dress, one fan asked on X: ‘Isn’t that literally the Fortnight music video dress?’

Another responded: ‘I knew I’d seen that dress somewhere when I saw the photos.’

‘Do you think TS gave it to her?’ wondered another.

Others, however, weren’t so convinced.

‘It literally isn’t, you can tell by the bodice stop trying to make everything about Taylor,’ one begged.

‘Swifties finding ways to make everything about them once again,’ said another.

While the two gowns – both designed by Matičevski – do look very alike, they contain some differences, like Jepsen’s having a slightly less pointed neckline.

For the Fortnight music video, Swift wore a Toni Matičevski Candescence gown which featured a rounded neckline and corset.

For her big day, Jepsen paired her Matičevski dress with a long sheer veil, which was placed at the back of her head.

Her reddish locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly cascaded down past her shoulders in elegant waves.

While walking down the aisle, Jepsen held a colorful bouquet of anthuriums as well as oncidium orchids.

Her beau Cole M.G.N. – whose full name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill – wore a cream-colored suit from Husbands Paris while also donning a Dolce & Gabbana shirt underneath.

When it came to the moment of her walking down the aisle, the singer described it as a ‘fever dream.’

While both she and Cole didn’t cry during the ceremony, Jepsen explained to Vogue that the ‘energy was just light and joyful.’

The Good Time hitmaker added: ‘Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream.

‘Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else.’

Afterwards, the newlyweds and other guests had the chance to unwind during cocktail hour followed by an intimate dinner.
